New Year. New Look. New Location.
Since our launch in 2013, we’ve heard one sentiment more than any other: Traditional retail is dying.
And you know what? We couldn’t agree more.
Traditional brick and mortar stores find themselves buried in inventory while being undercut on price and convenience from online mammoths. It doesn’t take knowledge of the fashion industry to see this shift in consumer buying habits.
And yet? We aren’t scared. For seven years we’ve built our company on values you can’t find in fast-fashion. Florescent-lit chains encourage you to shop-shop-shop. We want you to pause, have a drink, listen to a record, and work with our team to craft a piece that you’ll wear for decades to come.
We built Ole Mason Jar and Mason Custom on the experience we deliver and the relationships that we treasure with our clients and our craftsmen. In turn, you’ve given us your dollars to show that you value a company with passion and people at its heart.
So today, we have exciting news. In Winter 2020, our company will expand into a beautiful new flagship showroom at 1930 Camden Road Suite 125 in the heart of Southend’s Design Center of the Carolinas under a new umbrella brand: OMJ.
OMJ is the result of years of dreaming, growing, and listening to how you want to shop. We will carry our current brands, Ole Mason Jar and Mason Custom, and expand into a casual-wear line: OMJ. The store will also welcome similar brands that meet our expectations and align with our vision. (Rumor has it we might even branch into womenswear!) If you stop in to shop at OMJ you’ll be able to find something for every occasion: workwear, weekend wear, formal wear, and gifts.
Traditional retail might be dying, but we are alive and well.
