OMJ is an award-winning custom suiting and lifestyle brand founded in Charlotte, NC by college roommates and NC natives Bradley Rhyne and Filipe Ho. What started as a shared love of menswear and Southern style has grown into one of the Carolinas' most recognized names in custom clothing — a few exceptionally well-made pieces, and an in-person experience that leaves clients feeling confident and inspired.

We believe how you dress shapes how you show up. Simple, timeless pieces — crafted for the occasion, never overdone. And giving back is woven into everything we do, from local Charlotte partnerships to nonprofits across North Carolina.
The Name
When we launched as OLE MASON JAR in 2013, the mason jar said everything about who we wanted to be — a Southern icon that is simple, timeless, and never overdone.

That spirit has guided every decision we've made since. The name shortened to OMJ. The philosophy never changed.

OMJ Celebrates 10 Years!
OMJ turns 10 — a milestone we celebrated with our Charlotte community at a 10th anniversary event in Southend. What began in a bonus room with t-shirts and ties had grown into one of the Carolinas' most recognized custom suiting and lifestyle brands. By this point: 5,000+ custom suits delivered, 8,000+ shirts sold, features in Condé Nast, Garden & Gun, and Our State Magazine, two brick-and-mortar locations, and 50,000+ followers across social media.

OMJ Weddings Officially Launches
After years of quietly becoming Charlotte's most sought-after wedding suiting partner, OMJ formally launches OMJ Weddings as a dedicated service. With over 100 weddings annually already on the books and features in Style Me Pretty, Munaluchi Bridal, Green Wedding Shoes, Ruffled, and more, the launch gave a proper home to the experience grooms and groomsmen had been finding at OMJ for years.

For the 3rd consecutive year, OMJ wins Charlotte Magazine's Best of the Best (BOB) Award for both Best Men's Clothing Store and Best Custom Suits in Charlotte. Three years running is a testament to the loyalty of our clients and the consistency of our team.

No other menswear brand in Charlotte has won both categories back-to-back four times. OMJ celebrates 12 years in business — and the numbers tell the story: over 6,000 custom suits delivered, 10,000+ shirts sold, more than $6M in sales, 600+ garments donated to charities and nonprofits, and shipped to all 50 states and 30+ countries. What started in a bonus room is now Charlotte's most-awarded custom suiting experience, with 190+ five-star Google reviews and a client list that spans groomsmen, executives, athletes, and everyone in between.
